Founded in 2012, the Rodent Barn was born out of a need for high quality, reliable feeder sources. We believe your pet’s food source should be free of disease, raised on quality nutritional diets, and treated with the utmost care. Therefore, to optimize the breeding process, we harness local, sustainable food sources to ensure the highest quality diet and we have established a quality control program to ensure the health of our entire breeding stock.

In fact, our dedication to excellence has led The Rodent Barn to be the first rodent breeding facility in the United States to be certified by the Model Herpetoculturist Program: this is a badge we proudly wear!
Meet The Crew
Charlie is the founder and owner of The Rodent Barn. He has always been fascinated with snakes and and reptiles alike. It was this fascination and the lack of high-quality feeder rodents that lead him to begin his own breeding program. In his free time, Charlie enjoys snowboarding, dirt biking, and hanging out with all the different critters.
Lane has a deep love for plants and animals which is ultimately what drove him to join Charlie's team in 2019. He has a variety of animals including chinchillas, various geckos and lizards as well as ball pythons and boas. He also has an adorable cat named Hazel. In his spare time, Lane enjoys photography and traveling.
